Rochelle, Frankie, Una, Vanessa and Mollie have been asked to record this year’s Comic Relief single.

The girls have only been together a year and already they are set to follow in the high-heeled shoes of other girlband royalty, such as Girls Aloud, Sugababes and The Spice Girls. They have recorded the main single for 2009’s campaign and have chose a massive track to cover – Depeche Mode’s electro-pop classic ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’.

‘I am so so excited that we have been asked to do the Comic Relief song,’ says Mollie. ‘It’s such a big compliment and it’s so nice to be helping such a good cause. I’ve always dreamt of doing something like this from being a little girl! I remember watching the Spice Girls’ song ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and now it’s us! I cannot wait!’

Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day is on Friday 13th March and the theme this year is ‘Do Something Funny for Money’. By raising money for Red Nose Day, people can help to change lives forever. That’s because Comic Relief spends all the money raised to give extremely vulnerable, poor and disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa a helping hand to turn their lives around.

The single will be released 2nd March with Comic Relief itself taking place on 13th March.

Former DESTINY'S CHILD star KELLY ROWLAND has reportedly dumped the man who took her in as a teenager and managed her to pop stardom - former bandmate BEYONCE's dad. The singer has parted company with Mathew Knowles following a heated row, according to website Bossip.com.

A highly-placed source in Rowland’s camp tells the website the split has been on the cards for months - because the Dilemma singer is unhappy she's not a bigger star in America.

A spokeswoman for Bossip.com says, "We were told Kelly was really upset that she's not better represented in the United States. She's a big hit in Europe, but not in America."

Publicists for Knowles and his MusicWorld organisation were unavailable for comment as WENN went to press.

What can i say about the video, although i was expecting abit more from Kelly, I think the video sits well with the song and catches you in it's own sweet way. Kelly looks hot, and i think the concept is good but could have been worked on a little more.

Saying that the song HAS to be a hit, good video, great song.

Great vocals as ever from Leona, but lets face it she can't act, the starting for me is awful. Let's hope she does well with the single.

As for the video, it's great even if abit dark, poor bloke in the video lol. Pink at her best.

. Britney Spears . Autobiography .

Britney Spears is reportedly close to signing a deal worth £10 million to pen an official autobiography.

According to The Mirror, the 'Circus' singer has already teamed up with a literary agent and is expected to begin writing the book following her world tour.

"There have been numerous unofficial biographies printed about Britney, but she's never agreed to pen her own - until now," said an insider.

"And some of the stories she's got are absolute dynamite. She's kept diaries so there's nothing she'll leave out unless she wants to."

The source added that Spears could eventually write "between three and five books throughout the next decade", adding that it was "one of the most lucrative deals in showbiz history".

. Leona Not Ready To Tour .

Simon Cowell reportedly believes that Leona Lewis is not ready to tour.

The X Factor supremo is said to think that Lewis does not have the confidence to play to large audiences every night at this stage in her career.

"Although Simon believes in Leona as a world-class solo singer, he still feels she does not have enough confidence to play to large crowds on her own," a source told The Sun.

"There is certainly a real art to getting the audience in the palm of your hand as entertainers such as Mariah, Robbie Williams and Elton John can do. Leona is Simon’s little baby and he is very aware of how shy she is."

It was earlier reported that Lewis will team up with Justin Timberlake to record a duet of Dolly Parton song 'I Will Always Love You'.

Amy Winehouse has decided to spend £1 million to set up her own record label.
The troubled singer has vowed to transform herself into a music mogul for the sake of her 13-year-old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, who has become her first signing.


According to the News Of The World, Winehouse has already started working on Bromfield's debut album and has recruited Lady GaGa, Lemar and X Factor finalist Eoghan Quigg to record duets with the teen. The disc is expected to be released in March.

A source told the newspaper: "The album is co-produced and co-written by Amy. It has a kind of funky Motown soul sound.

. Sounds interesting, maybe this will give Amy the distract she needs to get her own life back on track and real focus on producing another amazing album like . Back To Black .
